KEY MISSIONS

You are responsible of the HR tasks for our subsidiaries mainly in the US.

Later, you will be able ito manage our companies in Canada, Mexico and Brazil.

You are part of an international HR teams.

You support employee life cycle management processes such as onboarding management, termination, personal data changes, internal transfers, etc.

You are multi-tasked and mainly in charge of:

  • Employment and recruiting: work with hiring manager to develop ideal candidate criteria, scour job boards to find good candidates, attract qualified candidates, select the best candidates and do the first interview, coordinate relocation.
  • Labor and employee relations: prepare employment contracts (check any legal updates), serve as liaisons between employees and management, resolve disputes, direct employee health and safety programs, provide expert advice and guidance to staff in all HR aspects. Check for legal updates and requirements.
  • Training and Development: organize and conduct new employee orientation, prepare and update the handbook, provide ongoing education for staff, determine what training is necessary, design materials and workshops for presentations.
  • Compensation and Benefits: prepare benefits and salary packages (payroll), ensure benefits fit the needs of employees, design performance reviews, establish bonus plans, develop pay structure, serve as liaison with insurance companies, 401K and health care system to implement.
  • Job Analysis: identify and document job duties and requirements and their relative importance, use data to develop training materials and methods, determine compensation, develop job titles and descriptions and application materials.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum education level: Bachelor degree in HR
  • At least 6 months' working experience in HR or any relevant experience in an HR department
  • English language is mandatory to work in an international environment, knowing another language (French or Spanish) is a strong plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills
  • Good communication skills (clear, respectful, readable, efficient), friendly contact toward forwarders and colleagues, ability to build and develop relationships, ability to establish cultural links between the company's different geographical/cultural entities
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to keep records and files correctly updated, time management skills, ability to manage different tasks simultaneously (multi-tasked) to ensure that work gets done and that the organization achieves its objectives
  • Pack Office knowledge: Word, Excel
  • Knowing a payroll software is a plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Time-management skills, ability to concurrently manage different tasks to ensure that work gets done and that the organization meets its goals
  • Ability to build and develop relationships

  • Based on the Business France grid


POSITION

  • 2-year V.I.E. contract, full time
  • Position open to European citizens only: the V.I.E contract in a French International Internship Program proposed by Business France (French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs). It is subject to specific conditions concerning age, nationality or tax residence.
