Role Overview

The Inside Sales Representative I (ISR1) is a foundational role responsible for executing

day-to-day transactional sales activities with a focus on speed, accuracy, and operational

excellence.

This position supports customer accounts through quoting, order processing, and

coordination across internal teams including Engineering, Quality, and Logistics. ISR1 plays

a critical role in ensuring a seamless customer experience while building the technical and

commercial skills required for future growth within ICAPE.

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Account Management

• Support assigned accounts through daily transactional activities

• Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with customers

• Track and follow up on RFQs, orders, and delivery timelines

Quoting & Cost Analysis

• Process RFQs using ICAPE systems (E-shop, Matrix, Supplier RFQ)

• Prepare accurate and timely quotations

• Validate customer specifications and escalate complex requests

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Customer Service

• Ensure smooth transition from quote to order fulfillment

• Communicate risks proactively to avoid delays

Process Improvement & Reporting

• Maintain accurate data in SAP and CRM systems

• Monitor KPIs such as turnaround time and order accuracy

• Analyze basic operational reports and identify inefficiencies

Training & SOP Compliance

• Follow ICAPE Standard Operating Procedures

• Participate in onboarding and continuous learning programs

• Develop foundational PCB and systems knowledge

Required Skills & Experience

Education & Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred

• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or B2B environment

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)

• Experience with ERP/CRM systems (SAP preferred)

• Ability to learn technical tools and quoting systems quickly

Operational & Analytical Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organizational and time management skills
