As part of the development of our FAE Europe team, we are looking for a young engineer wishing to grow in an international technical environment with a strong industrial dimension.
The position begins with a 12-month immersion, renewable for 12 months, within our office in Dongguan (China), which is the real operational center managing CIPEM’s industrial activities in China and more broadly in Asia.
This experience is a comprehensive field training to acquire a thorough understanding:
Industrial processes,
Product development,
Quality activities,
Supplier relations,
From the management of international technical projects.
The objective of this program is to train a future member of the FAE Europe CIPEM team. After this 12-month immersion in Dongguan, the candidate will join the European teams in France to support our clients' complex projects from the pre-sales phase to industrialization and serial follow-up.

§ Participate in the analysis of customer needs and technical specifications
Participate in the research and development of industrializable technical solutions
Understanding manufacturing constraints and integrating industrial requirements from the upstream phases
Participate in the development of new products with internal teams and suppliers
Follow samples, tests, and validations

Participate in mechanical design, adaptation and product improvement activities as well as reverse engineering activities according to project needs
Contribute to the identification and evaluation of technical solutions adapted to customer needs
Follow up on projects with the European factories or the China service office
Participate in the coordination of different stakeholders until industrialization
Engineering degree, five years of higher education
Training in mechanics, mechatronics, electronics, quality or industrialization
Strong technical curiosity and interest in product design
Interest in industrial processes and quality
Analytical and structured mind
Ability to evolve in an international environment
Good interpersonal skills and a taste for teamwork
Ability to communicate with different interlocutors
Mandatory professional English
Would be appreciated:
Quality knowledge (8D, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
Industrial process knowledge
CAD concepts (SolidWorks or equivalent), mechanical or electronic design
First experience or interest in reverse engineering activities and product analysis
First industrial project experience
A complete immersion in the heart of Asian industrial operations
