Maintenance Technician F/M

To strengthen our teams and development we are looking for a Maintenance Technician (F/M) who will be working for our subsidiary ICAPE-MMAB in Malmö, Sweden.

You will be a key contributor to the success of our production team and ultimately to customer satisfaction.


DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

The following reflect the essential missions for this position but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned based upon changing business conditions.

  • Mend problems on machines and manufacturing lines (curative maintenance)
  • Expertise equipment malfunctions and bring solutions
  • Install new machines and equipments in workshop, ensure all supply is set up (electricity, water, air) and check it runs well prior to release to production.
  • Ensure the software updates and programmes back-up whenever necessary.
  • Build a preventive maintenance plan (summer, Christmas), with time and people organization, then submit it to production supervisor.
  • Keep full conformity with ISO9000 standards, and attend audits when required.
  • Propose and organize support from external companies (especially the equipment makers) in order to gain knowledge and expertise on them.
  • Develop a maintenance policy aiming at sharing it between production teams and maintenance team, in order to improve equipment yield in a medium term approach.
  • Train and coach the production operators for the maintenance tasks (cleaning, check, etc.) and help make them sensitive to well-maintained equipment.
  • Keep proposing new ideas and improvement in the field of maintenance and equipment
  • Be involved in investment plans from the viewpoint of maintenance and installation.
  • Be involved in equipment purchase, including the inspection on site, go-ahead and update of all our documentation accordingly.

 

You report to the Production Supervisor.

The position suits you if you enjoy working independently and if you are solution-focused while working in close collaboration with the teams.

Working in a structured and careful manner is important, as is flexibility in the event of changes during the working day.

Furthermore, you enjoy working at a high work pace in a broad role.

 

PROFILE

In order to succeed in the role the following is also required:

  • Technical background, academic and/or experience.
  • 5 years of experience in industry.
  • Good knowledge on mechanics, electricity, software.
  • Able to have an overall vision of maintenance processus and make proposals.
  • Practice Excel, and other Windows suite.
  • Familiar with ISO requirements.
  • Comfortable with English.
  • Flexibility (can work during factory closing).
  • Well organized, familiar with stressful situations.
