To strengthen our team and development we are looking for an Accountant (F/M/D) in Munich, GERMANY.
You will be working full time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Autonomous management of financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger) for 2 companies (with 50% support)
- Monitor, reconcile, and verify the plausibility of accounts and budgets
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in collaboration with the Northern Europe Finance Manager and participate in monthly reporting
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses to support management
- Prepare VAT returns
- Support the optimization and digitization of financial processes
- General administrative tasks in the financial area
REQUIREMENTS
- Completed training as a certified accountant (e.g., federal diploma of accountant)
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in financial accounting, ideally in an SME/industry
- Proficient in closing accounts
- Confident use of SAP HANA and MS Office, especially Excel
- Initiative and a strong interest in process optimization
- Precise, reliable, and independent working method
- High level in German required (oral and written), good knowledge of English is mandatory
